Cookies and external services
Here you can read how ULAngler uses cookies and external services.
Functional cookies
ULAngler uses cookies for signing in, protecting forms and remembering your language preference.
For catch view counts, we store one random visitor code in a cookie. This lets us count a catch at most once per visitor every 24 hours. The cookie expires after one year; temporary server records are deleted after 24 hours.
MapTiler maps
Opening the map shares your IP address and viewed map area with MapTiler.
The location picker loads its map after you open it. Maps on catches, profiles and the catch overview can load automatically for signed-in members. To determine the country, we send the selected location to MapTiler. For 1 or 10 km precision, only the area center is used. Your browser also connects to unpkg.com to load the map software.
Umami
We use Umami Cloud to measure visits, page views, referring websites and technical device information. The tracking script uses no cookies. Search parameters and URL fragments are not sent.
Your browser settings
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. This may affect features such as staying signed in and remembering your language preference. Access to your current location is controlled separately through browser location permissions.
